Kombat Kimble Rules

The idea of the KOMBAT KIMBLE game is for each player to move his four game pieces once around the game area and to the goal zone. During the game players try to send their opponents' pieces back to their home bases.

Each player chooses 4 same color pieces and places them to the matching color home base. If there are only 2 players, they can play with two teams each.

Game die is rolled by pressing the dome (Pop-O-Matic/Eye of Terror).

Each player presses the dome and the highest roller starts the game.

On his turn the player can pop the dome once and move one of his pieces. 6 on the die grants the player one extra roll.

Player must roll 6 before he can move a piece from the home base to the starting circle. The Player is again granted an extra roll after rolling 6.

The player at the starter´s left is the next player.

Example A

Four on die.
1.
  Your piece comes here
2.
  Opponent's piece
3.   Empty circle
4.   Your own piece
5.   Piece to be moved

Pieces are moved clockwise as many circles as the die shows. All circles are counted whether they are occupied or not (example A).

Example B

Three on die.
1.   Opponent's piece must defend itself
2.   Empty circle
3.   Player's own piece
4.   Piece to be moved

If a piece is moved into a circle occupied by an opponent (Example B), a fight ensues. Both players pop the dome and the attacker adds +2 to the result. If fighting on player's own sector, the player adds an extra +1 to the score (attacker or defender). The player who scores lowest must return the piece to the home base. If the score is even, then both pieces must return to their home bases.

A piece can be moved into play only if the player rolls a 6. If the starting circle is occupied by an opponent's piece, then a fight ensues as described above.

When a player rolls 6 he can either move a piece already in the game, or can take a new piece into play. If the player has more than one piece into game, he can move whichever piece he chooses. The player can also elect not to move, if he sees it as a better alternative.

Example C

Three on die.

Once pieces have moved around the game area, they come to the goal zone. Pieces can be moved in the goal zone also. Example: A piece is in the first circle, once the player rolls 3, the piece can be moved to fourth circle.

A piece can be moved to the goal zone with an exact roll only.

Winner is the player who first gets all his 4 pieces to the goal zone.
